SabitWelcome to the onpool.net forum, teams and league

Today we open three new things on onpool.net: the community forum, mining teams and the team league.
Forum
Everyone can read. To write you need an account with a confirmed e-mail address. The first posts of a new account are checked by a moderator before they appear. When you start a thread you choose its language; nothing is translated automatically, so everybody sees your thread in the language you wrote it, and boards can be filtered by language (All / EN / DE / TR). Never post Bitcoin addresses, e-mail addresses, seed phrases or private keys. onpool.net will never ask you for them.
Teams
A team is a group of friends who mine together on the BTC PPLNS pool. Every member is still paid by the pool to their own address; a team never holds money. A team gets shared statistics, a block ledger that shows what the team received in every block, and an optional team forum. To found a team you need a confirmed e-mail address and a verified mining address: in your dashboard press "Verify this address" and connect a miner for about a minute with the temporary worker name shown there. Then invite your friends with a link.
Moderators
The leader of a team moderates the team forum and can appoint helpers. The main forum is moderated by the onpool.net team. You become a moderator by founding a team or when a leader makes you a helper.
Team league
Teams compete on their average hashrate over a whole season. There is no prize money, only a gold badge next to the team name.
Confirmed e-mail for new accounts
From now on every new account has to confirm its e-mail address before it can log in. Existing members are not affected.
